Easter Sunday Worship Opportunities
He is risen! Let us come together in celebration of the empty tomb with an Easter message, joyful music, and communion. We're also excited to officially welcome our confirmands as church members on this glorious day!
Our traditional worship service at 9:30am is held in our beautiful sanctuary each Sunday! Worship is open to all! Many people like to dress in their Sunday best while others wear a little more relaxed attire. The choice is yours. Each service has a moment for young children to come to the front for a short message followed by a classroom learning experience (see more below).
WHAT TO EXPECT IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN. All children are welcome at FPC… no ifs, ands, or buts about it!
Nursery is available starting at 9:00am for children 3 years old and under. The nursery is located on the Ground Floor and is best accessed from our rear entrance.
We invite older children to join worship in the Sanctuary and have a special moment for children during the service. We have created Education Worship Carts, which can be found in the Narthex just before you enter the Sanctuary, filled with books, tools to help memorization, puzzles, and other educational items for children to grab and engage in during worship!
After the "children's moment" we offer a classroom education opportunity called Worship Workshop to help children learn about worship elements, become familiar with Bible stories and people, and develop spiritually in an engaging, age-appropriate way. All children are brought back to the Sanctuary at the conclusion of the service.
